CERTECH®
Cellular Rubber Technology is the manufacturing technology behind Lundhags cellular rubber outsoles. Cellular rubber rises in the process, creating lots of micro air bubbles and resulting in a light, flexible and completely watertight material. There are different version numbers to describe the differences, 2.0-5.0, where the higher number has a more stable or warmer construction. The same construction can be found in both Regular and Opti-last. The Ws versions have somewhat softer soles and thinner insulation for a more adapted flex.

REGULAR-LAST
This last is a further development of our previous Normal last, where the volume has increased and the big toe box has become straighter to provide extra space. It fits feet with high ankle measurements, which many of us have.

OPTI-LAST
This last is slightly wider and has a lower ankle measurement to prevent the foot from sliding forward. The toe box is developed from earlier versions to offer more space for your toes.

OPTI WS-LAST
This last has the same shape as the Opti-last, but has been modified throughout the years to best fit women and smaller sizes. Somewhat narrower and higher over the ankle.

INSOLE
The insole is manufactured from a 3 mm fibre material and has an integrated steel blade. Our sturdiest models use Texon T70, a fibre material with a polymer core for stability and torsional rigidity.

EVA INSULATION
An extra insulation in EVA, with the hardness 35 Shore A, is used to provided better damping and cold characteristics. The thickness, together with the insole, affects the boot’s flex. Thickness 4 or 6 mm.

SPLIT LEATHER LINING 
Split leather from cows is used as lining in Certech® constructions to give stability and absorb moisture. Thickness 1.0 mm.

CLARINO® MICROFIBER
Microfiber of polyurethane/polyamide results in a light, flexible material with high durability. Used as a lining material in both Certech constructions and 3-layer shafts on the most exposed parts. Thickness 1.0 or 1.4 mm.

VIBRAM® TRACTION-SOLE
Our outsoles are manufactured in Vibram® and built up with EVA to provide cushioning and a rolling step. The traction pattern is designed together with Vibram®, which you will only find on Lundhags boots.

LUNDHAGS-SOLE
A classic, rough-patterned sole with a softer rubber compound that gives good traction and long life.

TPU TOECAP
The entirely, newly developed toecap in TPU plastic forms a strong attachment between the sole and the boot, by distributing the forces over a greater surface area. The TPU toecap protects against wear and tear and extends the life of the boot.

FULL GRAIN LEATHER
Full-grain leather is when the best parts of the hide are used. Nubuck is a full-grain leather that has been brushed slightly to give the surface another character. The nubuck surface breathes better and absorbs re-impregnation more easily. The leather is impregnated directly at the tannery, without the use of fluorocarbons in the process, which occurs in a closed system. Thickness 2.0-2.2 mm.

PERWANGER® SPLIT LEATHER
A finer split leather from cows that is robust, has excellent breathability, and is water resistant. Thickness 1.8-2.0 mm. 

NEOPRENE
Neoprene is used in our 3-layer shafts for stability without absorbing moisture. The material distributes the pressure and protects the feet against sharp objects. Used in various layers, depending on the desired characteristics. Thickness 4 mm.

PORON® SLOW REBOUND
Poron is used our most advanced 3-layer shafts for better stability with less weight and thickness. Through its gradual recovery and shock absorbing effect, the shaft become very stable, but still flexible. Thickness 3 mm.

HEEL FIT CONTROL (HFC) 
An extra Neoprene or Poron cushion that covers over the seam between the bottom and the shaft to provide better heel grip and stability.

EYELETS AND HOOKS
Our eyelets/hooks and rivets are made from iron or copper/iron alloys for greatest resistance strength. We use a nickel-free High Resistance Treatment for even more corrosion protection.

CAMBRELLE®
100% Polyamide gives a lining material with the highest durability against wear and moisture absorption. 150 g/m².

Felt in the soles and inner boots consists of 70% wool and 30% polyester. Thicknes
