Packing list for hiking

To get as much as possible from your hike, respect for nature and an understanding of the required equipment are needed. Of course, how to pack your bag and which equipment you choose is very individual, but we have listed our best tips here.

PACKING LIST FOR DAY TOURS. SUMMER.

Clothing
Underwear (preferably merino wool, avoid cotton), wool socks, pants, shirts, windproof long pants, windproof jacket, and rubber boots or hiking boots..

In the backpack
Thermos, outdoor stove or both, rainwear, snack/food, sitting pad/sleeping pad, sweater during rests, hat, gloves, underwear, first aid kit and toilet paper.

PACKING LIST FOR MULTI-DAY TOUR. SUMMER.

Clothing
Underwear (preferably merino wool, avoid cotton), wool socks, pants, shirts, long pants, windproof jacket, and windproof and roomy hiking boots. Change of clothes and extra clothing: sweater, hat and gloves, wool socks, synthetic/wool underwear.

In the backpack
Thermos, outdoor stove or both, rainwear, snack/food, sitting pad/sleeping pad, first aid kit, sweater during rests, hat, gloves, underwear, first aid kit, tape for blisters, ointment, elastic bind and headache tablets, toilet paper, mountain map, compass.
Extra clothing and a change: sweater, hat and gloves, wool socks, synthetic/wool underwear.

Tent and other equipment
Tent, stove, fuel and food, sleeping bag, sleeping pad.

If needed
Knife, whistle, flashlight, candle, repair kit for backpack, boots and wellingtons, camera, binoculars, book about flora, insect repellent, sunglasses, GPS and map.
