BOOTS

CERTECH®
Cellular Rubber Technology is the manufacturing technology behind Lundhags cellular rubber bottom. Cellular rubber is a yeast rubber with many micro air bubbles that provide a light and flexible material, which is completely waterproof. To describe the differences there are different versions numbered 2.0-5.0, where higher numbers represent a more stable or warmer design. The same construction can be available in both Regular or Opti lasts. The Ws versions have slightly softer soles and thinner insulation to provide a customized flex.

REGULAR LAST
A further development of the proven Normal last. Built for Nordic feet with a broad base plate and high instep dimensions. Now with a straighter toe and a length adapted for extra socks.

OPTI LAST

A wider last with a lower instep to prevent the foot from sliding forward. A redeveloped toe box provides more room for the toes.

OPTI WS LAST

Opti Ws last was developed on request by our female users and is slightly narrower. Now with more room for the toes, which provides better comfort.

INSOLE
The insole is built from a 3 mm fiber material and has a built-in steel shank. Our strongest models use Texon T70, a fiber material with a polymer core for stability and torsional rigidity.

EVA  ISOLATION

An extra layer of EVA with a hardness of 35 ShA is used to improve cushioning and resistance to the cold. The thickness together with the insole effects the flex of the boot. Thickness of 4 or 6 mm.

SPLIT LINING

Split leather from cow is used as lining in the Certech® construction for stability and moister absorption. Thickness of 1.0 mm.

CLARINO® MICROFIBER
Polyurethane/polyamide microfibers provide a light, flexible material with great durability. It is used as a lining material in both Certech constructions and 3-layer shafts in the most exposed places. Thickness 1.0 mm or 1.4 mm.

VIBRAM® TRACTION SOLE
Our outer soles are made of Vibram®, built with EVA to provide cushioning and a rolling step. The traction pattern is found only on Lundhags’ boots and was developed together with Vibram®.

LUNDHAGS SOLE
A classical rough patterned sole with a softer rubber blend that provides excellent grip and durability.

FULL GRAIN LEATHER
Full grain leather uses the best parts of the hide. Nubuck is full grain leather that has been gently brushed to give the surface a different character. The Nubuck surface breathes better and is easier to re-impregnate. The leather is impregnated directly at the tannery and no fluorocarbons are used in the process, which takes place in a closed system. Thicknesses of 2.0-2.2 mm.

TPU TOECAP
The newly developed TPU toecap forms a strong attachment of the sole to the shoe by distributing forces over a larger area. The TPU toecap also protects against wear and extends the life of the shoe.

PERWANGER® SPLIT LEATHER

A finer split leather from cow that is robust, has excellent breathability, is water repellent and hardwearing. Thicknesses of 1.8-2.0 mm.

NEOPRENE

Neoprene is used in our 3-layer shafts for stability without absorbing moisture. The material spreads impacts and protects the foot from sharp objects. Used in different layers depending on the desired effect. Thickness of 4 mm.

PORON® SLOW REBOUND

Poron is used in our most advanced 3-layer shafts to provide better stability with less weight and thickness. Through its slow rebound and cushioning effect the shaft is very stable, yet flexible. Thickness 3 mm.

HEEL FIT CONTROL

An extra Neoprene or Poron cushion that covers the seam between the bottom and shaft to provide an improved heel grip and stability.

RINGS AND HOOKS
Our rings/hooks and rivets are manufactured from iron or copper/iron alloys for maximum resistance. We use a nickel-free, High Resistance Treatment to provide additional protection against corrosion.

CAMBRELLE®

100% Polyamide produces a lining material with a high level of wear resistance and moisture absorption. 150 g/m².

FELT
The felt in the foot beds and inner boot consists of 70% Wool and 30% Polyester. Thickness of 3 or 5 mm.


CLOTHING

LPC
Water resistant when combined with DWR treatment. The fabric works well in light rain and is fast drying if wet due to heavy rain. Tightly woven twisted yarn in warp and weft is wind resistant and makes the material extremely durable. The fabric construction provides good UV protection when used in strong sunlight. Our LPC Stretch fabric has a permanent high elasticity due to its mechanical stretch.

ZETHAR®
Zethar® is our in-house brand that certifies our demands for waterproof material with high breathability. All materials labeled Zethar are fluorocarbon-free, have a minimum water column of 20 000 mm, and a minimum breathability of 16 000 g/m2².

BAMBOO/ COTTON MIX
Lundhags Viscose is made of Bambu. The bamboo fiber is naturally antibacterial and has a good capacity for absorbing moisture from your body. Bamboo/cotton fabric is quick drying and provides a nice cooling effect.

MERINO WOOL
100%
Soft, thin, naturally breathable and high quality wool. Provides a warming and cooling effect even when wet. Merino wool has an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio and naturally controls odors without any added chemicals. Lundhags Merino wool comes from mulesing free Merino sheep.

SCHOELLER®-DYNAMIC

A high quality, permanent elastic fabric that provides users with an increased freedom of movement. A durable and hard-wearing material with high tear strength. The material has been impregnated with a fluorocarbon-free, water repellent treatment. 
Contents: 89% Polyamide (Micro), 11% Elastane. Weight: 270 g/m².

SCHOELLER®-DRYSKIN 

Double fabric construction with synthetic fibers on the outside and functional fibers on the inside for rapid moisture transport. Wind and water repellent surface. A permanent elastic and durable material. 
Contents: 52% Polyamide, 41% Polyamide (Micro), 7% Elastane. Weight: 255 g/m². 

SCHOELLER® KEPROTEC® 

A fabric with an extremely high durability and tear strength. Used as reinforcement fabric on some of the garments in the collection. An extremely abrasion and tear resistant fabric with Kevlar® for top quality protection. 
Contents: 72% Polyamide and 28% AR (Kevlar®). Weight: 177 g/m².

CORDURA®

A durable reinforcement made from 500d Cordura®. Used as reinforcements for many of our pants.

ECO COTTON
Garments made from Eco Cotton are made from Certified Organic Cotton and fluorocarbon free surface treatments.

FLOUROCARBON FREE
Flourocarbons are harmful to our environment and living organisms. Lundhags strive to develop products friendly to our environment and aim for all our garments to have DWR treatment without flourocarbons.

ECO LIGHT
Contents: 100% Recycled Polyester. Weight: 45 g/m².

BACKPACKS

1000D POLYAMIDE
A specially treated nylon that is immensely durable. 1000d Nylon is our strongest backpack fabric and is used on the bottom of most of our backpacks. PU coated for waterproof protection.

610D CORDURA®
An extremely hardwearing Cordura® fabric that is coated with PU in four stages for maximum waterproof protection and durability.

600D POLYESTER
Polyester is a material that is highly resistant to destructive UV rays. Our 600d Polyester fabric is coated with PU in two stages for added waterproofing. It is hardwearing and copes well with tough conditions.

210D JW DOBBY 
A polyamide fabric that combines low weight with excellent durability. Coated 4 times with PU for maximum waterproof durability.

150D BABYRIP 
Our lightest Polyester fabric with excellent resistance to wear and tear in relation to its low weight. A two-stage PU coating provides durable and lasting waterproof protection.

75D POLYESTER DIAMOND RIP
A thin and light Polyester ripstop fabric with a TPU coating. This PU coating provides the possibility to weld materials together in order to create waterproof products.

30D CORDURA RIP
Our absolutely lightest fabric and is used for the lightest dry bags. The fabric has an outer silicone finish for water resistance and a PU coating on the inside for water-proof protection.

210D POLYAMIDE
A polyamide fabric with the perfect combination of low weight and high durability. Ripstop for increased rip resistance. PU coating for durable and lasting waterproof protection.

N/330D POLYAMIDE SHADOWBOX 
A Cordura fabric with very good abrasion and tear resistance. PU-coated in two stages for a durable waterproof protection.
